I am absolutely mortified by the fact that my flight from Singapore to KL to Miri was delayed on 9th April 2017, causing a lot of unwarranted stress and frustration. I arrived the airport always early and when I was told that there was a delay from 6.10pm to 6.50pm I was not so worried.

However, when it was delayed again to 8pm and then finally to an appalling 8.40pm, I was beyond myself. I was so exhausted by the time I got to KL from walking to gate after gate and having to wait at the transfer lounge for more information in Changi Airport. Upon reaching, one of the Malaysia Airlines rep gave me a form of compensation, a 3 star hotel night's stay and breakfast with transport. Unfortunately, to get it, I also have to go to a transfer counter and wait in line for a new boarding pass.

On top of that, I had to ask many other staff where to go to wait for transportation to the hotel and was diverted left and right for a solid 30mins. Well, I thought that my horror was over but the next day the airport transfer picked us up late by 30mins and I had to run to my gate quickly. Last but not least, when I received my luggage, there was a huge dent on the right corner. Malaysia Airlines, good job at making your customers invariably cheesed off.

For all fabulous delays and diversions, Malaysia Airlines hold the best honor.

Congratulations! For all its worth, they deserve it.
